The premier forum for onshore facilities design for well sites across Argentina

Welcome to the Argentina Well Site Facilities 2020 Exhibition & Conference where leading Exploration & Production companies will meet with well site facilities experts and key technology providers in Buenos Aires to explore the next generation of onshore production facilities for use in oil and gas production across the Argentinian shale plays.

As more operators and service companies focus their efforts on the massive Vaca Muerta Shale play in Argentina’s Neuquén Basin, the introduction of more efficient and cost-effective well site facilities are essential in order to remain profitable in a low-margin business, and also to remain robust in either a ‘low-to-stay’ or a high-production environment. Local operators are seeking flexible and low-cost well site facilities design solutions to ensure profitability as Argentina joins the ranks of their US competitors.

Thank you to all of our supporters and participants from previous summits, here’s a short clip below.

The face of well site facilities is fast changing as operators are keen to maximize asset value through economies of scale by developing larger multi-well facilities, and while this has opened access to higher crude volumes, operators are challenged with the growing risks associated with increased production, system pressures, and field complexities. However, new innovations in scalable modular solutions and centralization offer safer, more efficient, and environmentally aware production facilities.

With developments in technologies and technical know-how, recent innovations in facilities engineering offer new hope for operators looking to maintain economic margins under challenging market conditions and to better manage multi-well sites. The Argentina Well Site Facilities 2020 conference is set to become Argentina’s only exhibition and conference exclusively for shale operators and a large array of service providers to explore new opportunities in facilities engineering to improve efficiencies and increase profitability in both pre-existing wells and new operations.

The key focus for this year’s conference will be “flexible, cost effective, and scalable solutions” and the objective will be to bring shale operators and service companies together with leading industry experts, including new technology providers, government representatives, and policy think-tanks to collaborate and examine new opportunities in facilities engineering and to address the key challenges for well site facilities across Argentina.

Key topics on this year’s agenda include:

  • Making an economic assessment for developing well site facilities
  • Integrating new modular technologies to achieve scalable production
  • How to de-risk production facilities from design through to well maintenance
  • Looking at cost reduction strategies in well site operations for a low-price market
  • New technologies and technical know-how in implementing well site automation
  • Operational case studies for centralized and consolidated production facilities

This exhibition and conference will provide a forum for all stakeholders from shale operators and upstream service providers to leading facilities design experts and well site technology companies, to network and build cross-market relationships and to discuss the latest results in well site initiatives for the Argentinian shale sector.
